Norm Thompson, President, holds AME M1 & M2 ratings and an Interdisciplinary Master's degree. He is an aviation entrepreneur, trouble shooter, problem solver, and owner/operator of NT AERO SERVIES LTD., specializing in aviation Training, Auditing, Technical Writing, and Coaching.

The pathway to these roles has most recently included attending Vancouver Community College toward accredidation as a Certified Instructor, and dozens of other courses and seminars to sharpen his Investigative and Safety Management Systems skills.

Prior to that he spent many years in management as Powerplant Supervisor at Kelowna Flightcraft, Canada’s then largest cargo operator, overseeing all aspects of large gas turbine engine fleet management, heavy maintenance, quality control, purchase, leasing, and sales.

Earlier, after working as an AME in line maintenance and overhaul, at Air BC, he became a Supervisor, then a Senior Inspector doing internal/external audits, incident investigations and servied as a Aircraft Systems Trainer.

After graduating top-in-class in helicopter maintenance, Mr Thompson cut his teeth working in a medium sized 703/704 coastal bush plane company in Canada's northwest.
